Your Second Visit to Our Ahwatukee Practice:
  Review Tests and Treatment

second visit image

On your second visit, you will find out exactly what is causing your problems. This appointment should take approximately 20 minutes.

You will begin with Dr Winton giving you a detailed explanation of your x-ray and test results. She will review your films and discuss what is normal and what is isn't. She will explain, in detail, what your tests indicated on the first visit and if she can help.

If you are accepted as a chiropractic patient, Dr. Winton will perform what is called a "test adjustment." This is your first adjustment to see if she can unlock your subluxations or stuck vertebra pinching your nerves. If so, she will know she can help you.

You will be given home instructions for ice and proper sleep positions. These are very important instructions to assist you in the healing process.

Dr. Winton Asks some important questions of interest to Ahwatukee residents - Chiropractor Ahwatukee Dr. Winton Asks...

Why are frequent visits advised when starting chiropractic care?
Consistent visits at the beginning of your chiropractic care help create the momentum necessary to correct and retrain unhealthy spinal patterns. Later, Ahwatukee patients find that continued care on a less frequent visit schedule can help preserve their progress and avoid a relapse.
Is average normal or is normal average?
Every chiropractor knows that so-called "normal" is merely an average. What's normal for you may not be normal for anyone else. So the chiropractic approach to better health is to tailor our approach to the unique needs of each of our Ahwatukee patients.
